Supporting Little Hearts: Ghana Link's Commitment to Lifesaving Pediatric Care

At Ghana Link Network Services Ltd., our commitment to national development goes beyond technology and trade facilitation — it extends to the very heart of our communities. As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, we proudly partnered with The Children’s Heart Foundation Ghana to support critical pediatric heart surgeries for underprivileged children.

On Thursday, 10th July 2025, Ghana Link made a meaningful donation to the foundation at the National Cardiothoracic Centre, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The donation was specifically directed toward funding open-heart surgery for a young girl named Erica, one of the many children awaiting life-saving intervention.

Our team, represented by staff member Obed Atta Opoku, joined other donors, foundation representatives, and medical professionals to make the official presentation. During the visit, we had the honor of meeting Mrs. Grace Krobo-Edusei, the visionary founder and CEO of The Children’s Heart Foundation Ghana, who shared touching stories about the impact of these donations.

The event featured warm interactions with the children and their families. Each child was dressed in the event’s custom t-shirts, symbolizing unity and hope. Our representative took individual and group photographs to capture these special moments — from family portraits to the handing over of the certificate of payment to Erica’s mother.

As a donor, Ghana Link also joined foundation leaders, medical staff, and other sponsors for a group photo session outside the Centre, reaffirming a shared commitment to health equity and child welfare in Ghana.

Through this partnership, Ghana Link is proud to play a role in giving children a chance at a healthier future. We believe that true national development is not only about building infrastructure but also about investing in lives — especially the lives of our youngest and most vulnerable.

This initiative reflects our core values of compassion, responsibility, and impact, and we remain committed to supporting causes that uplift individuals and strengthen communities.

Together, we can save hearts — one child at a time.
